Alan graduated in Computer Science from Cambridge University before joining Accenture in London.  He transferred to Johannesburg in 1995. 

Entrepreneurship became part of his blood with leadership roles to take to market new businesses such as the launch of Cell C, then Vitality Health in the UK and Discovery Insure with Discovery. 

During a few years in First Rand, Alan led all things Digital in WesBank and all things ‘Car’ in FNB.  Then the growth of Fintech, and the opportunities brought by the technology to democratize banking brought Alan to Cars.co.za
